c. From a terminal window on the Sun workstation, enter the following

command:

3. Configure the terminal concentrator device:

■ Power on the terminal concentrator.

■ Within 5 seconds, after power-on, press and release the TEST button.

The terminal concentrator undergoes a series of diagnostics tests that take

approximately 60 seconds to complete.

Following the diagnostics tests, the

tip window of the administration workstation

should display:

# /usr/bin/tip hardwire
